Privacy Policy

Scope

This policy applies to the Logister website, hosted application, and hosted APIs at logister.org. Self-hosted Logister deployments are controlled by the organization operating that deployment and should publish their own privacy terms.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to provide the service, including:

• Account details you provide, such as email address, password credentials, profile name, and account settings.
• Project and team information, including project names, memberships, API keys, and integration configuration.
• Application event data sent through Logister clients or the ingest API, such as errors, logs, metrics, transactions, check-ins, stack traces, request details, headers, query parameters, and cookies when your integration sends them.
• Technical data generated by site and API usage, such as IP address, browser, device, timestamps, pages viewed, request metadata, and diagnostic logs.
• Messages you send us for support, security, or account questions.

Application event data

Logister receives the data your applications choose to send. You are responsible for configuring SDKs, filters, and payloads so they do not include secrets, credentials, payment data, or sensitive personal information unless you have a lawful reason to send that data and have protected it appropriately.

How we use information

We use information to operate Logister, authenticate accounts, process application events, show dashboards and project history, send transactional emails, troubleshoot service reliability, prevent abuse, improve product quality, and respond to support or legal requests.

Cookies and analytics

Logister uses cookies and similar technologies for sessions, authentication, security, consent preferences, and optional analytics. Analytics scripts for Google Analytics or Cloudflare Web Analytics load only when configured for the deployment and allowed by the consent banner. Read the Cookie Policy for details.

Service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us run Logister, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, email delivery providers, bot-protection and security services, analytics providers, and professional advisers. We do not sell personal information.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect data, such as encrypted transport, credential hashing, scoped API keys, parameter filtering, and access controls. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be fully secure.

Retention

We keep account and project data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. Event data is kept for the period supported by the product or your deployment settings. Backups, audit logs, and operational logs may persist for a limited period after primary data is changed or removed.

Your choices

You can update account details, rotate or revoke API keys, configure what your applications send, manage cookie choices, and request account or data deletion. Some data may need to be retained where required for security, service integrity, or legal obligations.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries where we or our service providers operate. By using the hosted service, you understand that data may be transferred outside your state, province, or country.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Logister changes. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the product or by email.
